This week in Maths we are learning about multiplication using arrays. We started by looking at arrays in real life. Can you find arrays in real life? If you can – take a photo and add to the comments! Can you also write the multiplication sentence to describe it? We will give a success star to anyone that can find one!
*Update – on the fabulous advice of Miss Wilson we have added a Padlet to add your lovely arrays to!*
This delicious box of chocolates below shows a 6 x 5 array. 6 x 5 = 30.

Here we are making arrays using marshmallows!

Isobel found an array on the tv programme “the greatest dancer”
It is
4×3 = 12 or 3×4 =12
(Haven’t worked out how to add the picture either)
