Planting seeds

This week Year 2 have been continuing their learning about plants. We planted some runner bean seeds and are looking forward to watching our plants grow!

What do you think plants need to be able grow? Comment below for a success star!

Also….can anyone see an array….? 😁😁

Insect Fact Files

Today we began our DT project to design an insect hotel. We started by going outside to look for insects – but we didn’t find any! Where have they all gone?

Time to do some research. We used our reading skills to find out more about some of the insects we’ve seen at Forest School. We learnt about how to identify them, their habitats and how they survive in winter.

We recorded our findings in a Fact File.

So where have all the insects gone? Leave a comment for a success star.

Active time

Year 2 are really starting to build their confidence in rugby. We are getting better with our accuracy in passing and really good at dodging to get avoid getting tagged.
